Is the Audi doing that time with the manual or Auto?
My thing has always been if a sedan and coupe are pretty much toe to toe with performance, I will get the sedan. I feel a coupe needs to truly outperform a sedan unless its just that damn fantastic to look at.
The A5/G37 look nice and the GS 350 is easily on par with these cars with style and its a sedan. Sadly the S5 costs way more than those cars.

That was manual, automatic is 5.9 0-60.
I guess it seems like I don't want a fast car but my GS is so damned slow just about any of these cars will seem like a rocket in comparison !
The difference in price between a fully loaded A5 with an S-Line package(which is what I would get) and an S5 is only about $7-8K. Looking at about $52 vs 59K. It's just that the S5 wait will take a little longer and the lease prices on the A5 are bad, but the S5..........wow !

This is why I like this forum. You guys here keep it real and will vote for whatever car you think is best....even if it's not a Lexus ! On other car forums you are only allowed to like the car the forum is about. For instance on Audizine, when someone wanted a comparison of the A5 to the G37, things just got nasty and hardly anyone had anything good to say about the G37.....or Japanese cars in general !

yeah
thats a nice car
but i think the nissan/infiniti 3.5L and 3.7L engines are still a bit more thirsty than GS's 3.5L
that just seems like a wonderful powerplant mated to a proper transmission
i think G37X or GS350AWD are the best value at this moment
but G37X price may drop more once the sedan version of 3.7L comes out
so at this moment in time, GS350AWD gets my vote with its good financial sense and highly usable backseats

I definitely will not switch from the GS to and Infiniti M. I think the GS looks so much better and is better on gas mileage, even though the M supposedly handles better.
Hopefully Lexus decides to give the GS line, or at least one model a sport package, and then I will not need this poll as I'll definitely stay with the GS.

I've driven both the Lexus 3.5 V6 and the BMW 3.5 straight-six, in various forms, and, to my senses, the Bimmer definitely had stronger response.....perhaps because of the twin turbos. However, except for the GS AWD versions, it's Lexus, hands-down, for reliablity.

I dare you start a thread like this ANYWHERE else. Your responses will be;
-Lexus sucks
-Lexus is Toyota
-Hulk smash Lexus
-Lexus not true luxury, fake luxury
-Lexus based on Corolla
-Goats hate Lexus
