BMW 328 cxi (coupe AWD) gets 25MPG highway. What is AMAZING is according to the EPA the 335 cxi gets the SAME MPG.
The Infiniti G37 will come in AWD in coupe form but I am sure it won't get 25mpg, even with the new 7 speed auto. I just looked and the G35x gets 23MPG and the G37 gets 24 MPG so the BMWs are clearly superior here.
The AWD GS 350 gets 25MPG highway and 1 more MPG City (18) than the BMWs.
The ACura MDX/RDX get crappy MPG.
Whats AMAZING is the Porsche 911 4CS gets THE SAME mileage as the BMWs/Lexus and better than the Infinitis and Chrysler 300 AWD/E350 4 matic etc..

If TL had AWD, I've heard some reliability issues but LOVE that look
If the IS350 had AWD I'd jump... my IS250AWD was getting 31 mpg with JoeZ BUT was slooooooooooooooow, but favorite look of all Lexus' IMO
Looks like the Japanese cars are taking the lead.... only the 2009 A4 is left in the mix... so now it's down to GS350 AWD, the Infiniti Ms, TL (is the AWD for 2009 anyone?) and the 09 A4....
Thx again all , can feel the relief already!!!

The GS350AWD would be the odds on favorite here.. Heck, it's Club Lexus
If you are concerned about mpg & reliabilty don't sleep on the Audi A6 & BMW 535Xi. Both vehicles average near 30 mpg on the highway. (21/29 A6 & 17/25 535Xi), & have been quite reliable to boot. I was one of the naysayers about buying German vehicles. I fought the temptation but could not hang on.. I took the plunge and could not be happier now.. Saved cash in the process with the free scheduled maintainence.. Brake jobs no problem.. There is always the superb $125.00 per hour Lexus service if you are concerned about mpg..
Test drive all of the cars for yourself and make the choice that suits you.. Good luck

If you still want my TL review, here is the one I just did a few days ago, by request, on the 2008 Type-S 6-speed manual....but they are hard to find.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...008+acura+type
There are a couple of my old TL and RL reviews from several years ago still floating around....but they are probably irrelevant to the latest models (The RL is new for 2009, and the old TL has gotten some quality and interior improvements).

Yep, found it.... always liked the TL, looks like reliability finally's improved... RL is not an attractive car IMO...

For $60k, you gotta buy a new car. Here would be my recommendations:
1. BMW 535xi sedan
2. Lexus GS350 AWD sedan
3. BMW 335xi sedan
4. Infiniti G35 AWD sedan
5. 2009 Audi A4 sedan
6. Acura RL

I guess I thought u wanted a coupe, thus I didn't recommened the 535xi but that is also a good choice.
I did a TL review (search 1SICKREVIEW) and I've always been a fan of the car, you can get great deals too. The RL gets awful gas mileage besides its bland/ugly looks. There is no Infiniti with good gas mileage. Hell the M45x has a gas guzzler tax.
