The rear wing looks best down. This definitely is the best of the facelifted SLs still really prefer the peanut-shaped headlights. The wide track on this thing is ridiculously awesome. Pretty awesome interior. Great weight reduction was done. I would rock one if I had the money to burn.

It looks absolutely stunning. Incredible machine, but one thing that jumped out at me is that they made extensive use of carbon fiber, yet the car STILL weighs over 4000lbs! Totally unacceptable how heavy the car is . As soon as you put your foot down, fuel economy will drop to single digits.

The 5 speed auto is probably the only tranny Mercedes has that can handle this much power and torque.
Besides, who cares how many gears this car has? 5 is more than enough, the more powerful and flexible the engine, the fewer gears you actually need. Adding an extra overdrive gear or two isn't going to make much of a difference, except maybe in highway fuel economy

Highly doubt those in the market for this car will be concerned with fuel economy. And as much as I like the Black Series SL, at that price, a Ferrari or Lambo would be tough to pass up.
