I think that's a very fair statement. There are so many of these cars that have potentials that can ONLY be exploited on a race track.
I'm not a BMW fanatic but, it seems to me that, while the M3 is slightly faster/better/quicker, I don't think it's worth the ~$34,000.00 price difference. Especially considering the Dinan 335i has a warranty.
But, if you're a BMW fanatic, there's nothing like an M. That's a factor too.
