Every reputable and probably non-reputable car magazine: editor, tester, reviewer, spokesman, etc. has literally praised and marveled at this vehicle. There may be more "prestigious and curbside appeal" cars out there for $100k (which the car is actually $65-75k). But there is no other car that has the technical prowess and supercar stats as this car... period. And some might want to say "Z06". Yes... It's a helluva Vette. If you said Marcus here are both cars for you to pick, I would not even think twice about hopping into the GT-R.

Ummm...
The Ring Times:
7:29 = Nissan GTR
7:32 = Porsche 911 GT-2 (2008)
7:32 = Porsche Carrera GT
7:34 = Koenigsegg CCR
7:40 = Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
7:42 = Ford GT
7:42 = Corvette C6 Z06
7:47 = Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 E-gear
7:55 = Ferrari F430 Scuderia F1
Nope....even the ZR1 is more expensive than the GTR...
So even at markup, this car is the best bang for the buck.

That pisses me off so much. Like during NHL playoffs, when you try to get tickets and its all sold out cause some donk bought it all and doesnt even plan on going, just to flip it. Seriously.
Yes. But who these days really buys a car based on performance? Most people who buy nice expensive cars dont care that the GTR is a shave faster then them. They couldn't care less. To them, you're just a dude with a Datsun who thinks he can roll with them. IMHO Porsche 911 Turbo > GTR

I love the GT-R and because of it's rarity in the amount that they are going to produce it IS an exotic IMHO and will have the same effect to me as a Porsche 911 and it doesn't matter that it is just a Nissan...you'll see. Even the interior is beautiful, double-stitched leather sport seats etc etc. I like it and if I was rolling in it next to a guy with a new Zo6 I am POSITIVE people will inquire about my GT-R over the other guy's Zo6. There are MANY enthusiasts that JUST can't get past spending $70-100K on a Nissan; it is a wonderful machine and does the BEST (or VERY close to it) than any other car...why shouldn't it cost $70-100K? If you built a brand new car (and came up with the concept) capable of what this car can do, you bet you would want to expect big $$$ for it.

I regret not putting my name on the waiting list at Nissan to get one. I heard if you were one of the first persons on the list you pay no markup.
I should of got one for 70k and sold it for 100k.

The car is in the exact condition it was delivered to me in on 7-19-2008. It was trailered to my house and put in the garage where it will stay.
Says he bought the car in Florida and then it was trailered to his house in Minnesota, from Florida. Trust me,, I know this is gonna be more than 150 miles. LOL!!! He offers this as an explanation for the miles,,
I've gotten a couple questions as to how there could be 150 miles on it. The car currently has 104 miles on it. I picked it up from the dealer in Florida with 33 miles. They explained that the GT-R certified tech takes the car and drives it and goes through a pre-delivery check list as well as fuels it up. As there are no GT-R certified dealers in Minnesota until Aug 15th, I drove it around Pensacola for the day, gently, to make sure there wasn't anything that needed attention. The balance of the miles could occur if I go out of town for a few days and move it to my folks garage 20 miles away for safe keeping.
Nice car, but a $30 K markup is still way too much. It may sell ok, but will not do as well as they may be hoping for it to do. Bottom line is , it is still a Nissan, and most people who have the capability to buy this thing want to see something other than NISSAN on the car; primarily b/c Nissan has not established itself as being a pretiege car maker. Not knocking it, I happen to like Nissan, but it will suffer the same fate as the VW Phaeton. You spend that kind of serious money, the last thing you really want to see on the car is a domestic brand name.

We actually checked out the 5 series (we no longer find our selves 3 series folks). Wife hated the 5 with passion and I was not impressed either (interior just pushed us away). The GS got kicked off the list long ago as well. IS, ES, A6,etc etc etc. This is our daily beater but we much preferred it over anything else in the 25-30k cash range. And yes, we checked out a ton of cars.
