I dunno. Having gone from a FWD sports car to several AWD sedans I must say that when ever I get into my brother's IS300 it makes me very nervous. I would never treat that car through the twisties the way I do my own. The RWD is too unstable for me. Perhaps I'd feel differently if it had a limited slip, but driving it aggresively makes me very uncomfortable.

All else equal, RWD has less understeer then FWD, which gives it quicker response on winding roads...........especially in track conditions. That is why FWD racing cars are virtually unheard of. Even the FWD domestic sedans are converted to RWD for NASCAR use.
