i was just thinkin about the swap yesterday...from the 1JZ that i saw in the 2nd gen RX, i was like why hasn;t any put a 1 or 2JZ in an RX8 yet.

this should be another JZ monster!

Agreed. Its just not an RX, if it lacks the rotary engine.

The best atribute of any RX is its balance, which is totally thrown out the window with such a heavy motor up front. Plus its impossible to place the motor far back to acheive any F/R balance.

The RX-8's running in the Rolex series utilize a 20B motor, but it is set so far back and low that it nearly becomes a mid engine car!
