The 09 Rav4 has some pretty nice upgrades including navigation system

New 2009 RAV4 in North American(US/Canada)
New Front Grille, Front Bumper, Headlamp/ fog light tail light re-design
new rear bumper protector re-design
Antenna on roof
Outside mirror with turn signal built-in
2.4L to 2.5L Engine (3.5L V6 no change)
sport and limited with back up camera, monitor in mirror (like 2009 tacoma)
all models with hard spare tire cover
Limited with push button start
Limited with XM Satellite Antenna prewire

I think it looks sharp. For my family of 3 soon to be 4, I wouldnt mind driving this car.

those are some nice additions, so would the rav4 be the only one in its class with push button start

Some interesting news regarding the new 4 banger:

Few stats for the new 4 banger [2AR-FE]
2009 - 180hp (2008 - 166hp)
2009 - 173 ft⋅lbf @ 4100 rpm (2008 - 165 ft⋅lbf @ 4000 rpm)

Damn, those look quite nice, but how is the fuel efficiency on it, if they managed to get it more fuel efficient than the last I4 it would be really nice, as the V6 gets only 1 mpg less than the current I4

Wasn't there a rumor about the RAV loosing the spare on the rear door?

I'm willing to bet that it will be more efficient than the outgoing 2.4L. The 2.4L had been around for awhile. Our '92 Previa had that engine and while it has come a long way, it was an old design.

I read someplace else the Sport model of the Rav4 loses the outside spare tire, and gets Run Flat tires instead.

That new Limited grill looks horrible. Other than that, some very nice upgrades.

That red Tundra next to it looks like it has the 20in F-sport rims for the LX570.
