Car Under $65K???
#2
Audi S5. Great GT type car with a honkin V8 to go with it.
I think the new Jag XF Supercharged is also getting good reviews, would sneak in just under that $65K mark.
BMW M3 wouldn't fit under $65K fully loaded.
IS-F would also be a good consideration.
I'm not sure if the C63 breaks above $65K fully loaded or not.

While some on CL disagree with me, for <65K, IMO, here is the best overall car on the market...the Acura RL. This car combines the build quality of a tank and a Swiss Watch, and comes with standard AWD. Roughly 50K loaded.
You may not like the grille of the new 2009, however....
In that case, I'd get a 2008.

To be more specific......It has to has to be at least a 2+2, so I can fit the family.....if I have to. It should have some luxury, be fun to drive and look good of course.
The reason I am leaving this one a bit more open, is that someone may name a car that I may never think of....but no civics !
Oh, I will definitely show pics, but if I get an Audi like the S5/A5 it may be a while before you get to see them.

All the more reason to check out an RL. A reasonable-size family should fit with no problem; it has road-hugging AWD, and, while not having exotic styling, it is far from ugly.........except maybe for the new 2009 grille. The big V6, while not quite V8 power, is no slouch.

id either get the g37,135i,corvette or evo X but in the same time id wait for the 370z. if u want the best everyday sports car than get the mx5. if i were to buy used than i would get the SUPRA TT

Agreed, Phil..........the 335i is a dynamite car for the money (I've written much about it being a better deal, IMO, than an M3), but I don't think a coupe or convertible version like you suggest would accomodate his family well.....just not enough room in back. He made family-friendliness a primary consideration. It also doesn't have Acura build quality.

G8 or Charger, maybe...though build quality on both is so-so. The Challenger?..........not for a family. It is a fairly small 2-door coupe with a tight rear seat.
