Well, definitely had higher hopes after seeing the top-down pics. On one hand I want to say I understand that the combination of a 4 seater + hard top makes for not so attractive execution (by design limitations) but BMW has done a pretty good job. Yes, the 3 hardtop vert has some weird angles, but it has done it better than Infiniti or Lexus.
I still think I prefer the G37 over the ISc though. I will have to wait to see the IS in person to be sure.

I really am dissapointed with the top up look. It looks like an egg, really goofy proportions there. I can't say this looks better than the ISc. ISc I think actually looks a bit better.

Top down the G takes the prize. The IS convertible still looks too blocky and thick for me.

okay, the ISC and the G have hte same side profile with the top up. that same awkward, weirder SC430 look. damn...perhaps its a "must see in person" thing. either way, the bmw really takes the prize here.

^^^ It better, as its only a two seater (much smaller roof, thus much smaller boot). I do have to agree, the C70 convertible is definitely the better looking 4 seat hard top convertible in this class.

i think in darker colors it looks better, like the darker blue above. it hides the lines of the roof better so that it looks more like the coupe. id like to see this in black. honestly, it looks great.
