The most shocking part was the pricing... a fully loaded A4 2.0T Quattro, Tiptronic (They don't offer a manual transmission yet). With the S-Line, Navigation, Drive Select System, etc. Will cost you ~$49,000 MSRP. Not including their dynamic cruise control.

WOW! I think they priced it pretty high. I know a lot of it is probably due to the dollar being weak, etc. But still... I'd be hard pressed to put 50K for this. Other options in the class stand out as much better options, the new G37 sedan with 328 or 330 HP. Cadillac CTS even.

What's the Car Chat group's thoughts on this?
Just priced the same car I drove last week, came to $49,175... wtf??? My rep quoted me $41,750 for the EXACT same car....

We better wait until we see/drive the thing before we decide it costs too much. The new, B8 model A4, is more comparable in size and features to the current A6 so it's hard to know just from pics and a spec sheet.

i really would consider getting an a4/a5 s4/s5 for my next car but they are all priced higher then other models in its class including other euro cars.......

I did test drive the 09 A4, it's a sweet ride.... but I am STILL waiting to hear from my rep on official pricing... hmmm.....
