Default 4.7L twin turbo, short video of the rev up,

Hi guys,

As most of you know or may have heard, I've undertaken a 4.7LTT swap into a '97 TT widebody. Finally got it all started up and even took it for a quick spin out for a couple hundred feet today. I know it's not an SC, but I figure it's directly related.

Quick pic of the motor and rear:

Orgasmic!

Now, when do we get to see some video of it in motion?

Nice job Eric. I've been following this since the early days.

For those that would like to inquire, please see the thread below on supraforums.

Thats sweet but you may need some new back tires before hitting the high speeds...

Those look like BFG drag radials.... maximum traction for the street/strip.

Nice set-up Cowboy Bebop
I've been following that massive thread on Supra Forums...this project must be the sweetest one I've come across - kudos to you for being creative man. Turned out great. Now we need some Pull and Burnout vids

You just can't beat the sound of the 1UZ as far as recent engines from Japan is concerned. The 2J is great and all, but the V8 just sings.

Very nice build. Would love to see more vids once the car is on the road!

3UZ>1UZ in the sound department;

I've never seen a 2UZ with twin hair dryers on it. that thing must have massive amounts of torque. it already did from factory!. i wanna see some numbers on this thing.
