Automobile Mag Comparo: Genesis V8 v. GS460 v. XF v. E550
Genesis won the comparo because it was the best luxury car. XF and E550 were praised for their sportiness. Genesis was criticized for being poor in the twisties.
The article also said that the Genesis had the best interior and the best stereo.
E550 was the most solid and the XF was the most beautiful.
"There wasn't as much praise for the Lexus."

well it's a win win situation...lexus will win in sales, MB will win in status, so it's only fair that hyundai wins the comparo

Lexus will win in sales? I love the GS, always have, but it's not winning any sales contests. Luckily for me that was one of the reasons I loved the GS is because I don't see it around every corner like I do a 5 series. That being said, Lexus has got to make some changes to the GS as the competition is heating up, at a much lower cost.

^At the rate that GS460 threads have gone, I'm expecting someone to say Nissan Sentra > GS460 
Has the 3GS340 ever been in as many comparos as the GS460 has been in in the past few months? Since the GS460 performance is so behind the competition, it almost feels as if they are picking on the fat kid in the class
What I will say is that the 4GS will be a very important car.

Does this mean all the auto mags will demonstrate their creativity by having comparos with the Genesis this month? I know all about magazine constraints and they strike when the models come out, blah, blah, blah, but shoot, at least do your review and maybe wait a bit for the comparo. Oh well, at least you get to pick your favorite mag that gives you the comparo you want.

The quality of the Genesis is close to a GS350, but is nowhere near the LS460. Performance and feature-wise the LS460 is miles ahead of the Genesis.
