LS430 vs LS460

The LS430 is 10 years old now and it's sort of showing it, but I still love both cars!
I do prefer the looks of the LS430 seats as the LS460 seats look a bit bland. The LS430 doors also has that wrinkle leather that makes it look damn luxurious, however the cluster looks like something you find in the 90s. The LS460 displays are much 'cooler'

We are all under the assumption you own a Salsa Red 03 Tundra, but you have no pics to prove it or any of the cars you own. Plus you are certainly not from Michigan as Oakville, Ontario is 3 hours away from the closest Michigan border.
Your parents have an Avalon which you always refer to cars you don't own as "WE". Prove to us you're not another kind of Fisforfast (who was banned recently), but your actions and answers lead us to believe you are.

^ haha, yeah it could be entertaining, but pagemaster at least brought some negative balance to car chat.

There has been plenty of criticism here over the last few months...I am probably chief among those responsible. There's a difference between between being a regular contributor and active participant of this forum who voices legitimate thoughts and concerns, and being someone who is constantly making jabs and being negative.
I don't target that specifically at pagemaster either, FYI.

I don't need to clarify anything. If you want clarification, send me a PM or go research my past posts. I have never had to prove anything to anyone in life and I have never asked any for it either.
Let me be clear, if you do not believe that I do not have a LS430 or a Tundra in garage then don't believe it.

LS430 is my choice but I like the luxo feel and look over the sport. Don't get me wrong, the 460 is gorgeous however, on a smaller scale I have both and ES330 and an ES350. While I like the sportiness of the 350, I definitely prefer my 330. The gobs of walnut trim in my 330 are to me what velvet is to George Costanza.

A logical question based on your comments is what year LS did you own. I would also ask what interior color combo and what made you let it go.
Please dont be offended but these are the types of questions we ask .... Its a great way to get feedback and opinions on vehicles, not trying to bash you..

Back on topic.
I think both LS430 and 460 have their plusses and minuses.
Lets put it this way, LS430 was the evolution of the original LS400 - they basically took the original car and kept perfecting it. The last years of LS430 it was nearly flawless, yet dated.
LS460 is radically new. It has new engine, new drivetrain, new chassis, new interior. It does have some flaws in the interior built quality, but its far more modern, it has tons more features. And if Lexus follows in their tradition, it will evolve into a flawless design with future generations.
As far as interior/exterior styling, they are subjective. I personally prefer the exterior styling of LS430, but overall interior goes to the LS460, although LS430 does have certain interior elements in the interior that are executed better than the LS460.

I am betting you if you put someone behind the wheel blind folded in an LS430 or LS460, chances are people will find the simplicity and usability of the controls a lot more easier to use than the 430's. Driver ergonomics and experience are key here, aesthetics are secondary.
Def needs more than a few days or weeks...talking long term testing, I know it's hard, I'm willing.
