Katech Performance, the company that builds the engines for the world-famous Corvette Racing C6R racecars has just released a lightweight tuning package for the Z06. This Clubsport kit shaves pounds off the stock Z06 so you can shave seconds off your lap time and it is still street legal.
Sold exclusively through Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn, MI, the complete car weighs just 2,915 lbs in regular trim, or as little as 2,825 lbs in its most basic form. The kit also improves grip, cornering, braking and downforce.

The new lightweight, harder edged version of the F430 is called Scuderia, so this is a joke as in the lightweight harder edged version of the Z06
Nice ride! I'm sure that thing simply FLIES. Z06's are no joke with basic bolt-on's and a tune already.
