sweet ride...would love to see the engine compartment and how the routed all the plumbing for the TT....

ps....notice how some guys are still bagging on the IS-F supposedly "detached" exhaust tips? Someone should post there the pictures of the production model!

remember this classic thread:

i love how people on some forums talk cars like politics, no matter what you do,say, ect people ill always disagree and fight about it, most people should be happy to drive a car of such quality, if those bmw and merc guys think lexus and everything else is so bad, put em in a yugo .....god haah

What is 600 HP good for, except to brag about numbers for an ego trip? IMO, It is gross overkill for any street machine, including Mercedes AMGs. I reviewed a 414 HP IS-F back last spring, and it is PLENTY of power for any sane use on the street.

I DO like that butterscotch-yellow paint job, however (reminds me of Volvo's old Saffron yellow). Lexus should offer it as a stock factory color....and not just on the IS.

They are still detached. What you see is an added metal shield. We've discussed that thoroughly here:

(sorry if this was already mentioned, burried dee in the other threads)
I clarified this a long long time ago...some never choose to really pay attention or listen.

I've posted several times on this thread...

See the shield with brackets holding it in place...

Teh Gallardo, R8 and new Ferrari Cali are examples of exotics with detached exhausts as well

thanks for the correction on the detached exhaust...now i'm very confused! So have actual owners confirmed this, instead of relying on demo units?

on another note, the pics of the exhaust looks very heavy....wonder if they made Ti versions already (single muffler design)....now that would really rile up the "purists"!

You can take a peek for yourself at the dealership, they are still not connected.

Yeah the oem exhaust is pretty heavy.
