Saw an older 2005 LS430 today. Wow. What an impressive and classy vehicle. Can't say the same for the 460.

I would do a black LS on 22's and save the cash and trips to the dealership

Just to throw my two cents in here... I like the Mercedes S550 more than the Lexus LS460 myself. But, for the money you have to pay to load up an S550, it's just not worth it. I've been complaining about Lexus being too arrogant with their pricing lately.. Well Mercedes just takes the cake here.. To get a Mercedes S550 the way it SHOULD be (with all the features you'd expect in a top tier luxury car) you're looking at $110,000.00.. Not so with the Lexus LS460.......

If I were in the market for a new car, I'd leave the S550 off my list. I'd just feel stupid for paying that much more for something I can get so similar for so much less.. And it's not like the Lexus LS is a slouch...

that's exactly why you lease a s550 not buy similarly equipped, a ls460l will be around 87k and s550 just over 100k. if you do lease, i guarantee payment on the s550 will be about the same as the ls460l

note though, not that i am supporting the s550, i don't like that car. i am just pointing out the pricing structure of the s class and mb mentality in "selling" these days
