Provided you can turn off the T/C. I don't remember, from the G8 GT I reviewed, whether you can or not.

If they could just figure out how to put a US Spec Navi in with that radio display, it'd be sweet.

This car will have an available nav. There is a vid of this car in Aussie VXR trim vs. the M3 & C63... Amazing machine!

Just get an aftermarket or hand-held NAV/GPS. It's a lot cheaper.

Had a chance to play with one of these for a few hours and loved every minute of it, of course not the GXP packaged one, but the G8 surprised the heck out of me. Finally GM is starting to pull some of their attractive Austrailian models from out of the dust and offer them here. Shold have done this a long time ago as opposed to bombarding us with blandness. I like the bold, attractive looks of the G8. Would definitely be well worth the effort to pick one up as a daily beater.

while i havent test driven it just yet, i read somewhere that you can turn it off or at least partially disable it. or maybe they are enabling TC off for the GXP

I'll go along with two of those....looks and performance. But there's two problems with the interior. First, it only comes in black, with very little contrasting trim......it looks like the inside of a coal mine. Second, there are some excessively flimsy plastic parts....the glove box door is the most noticeable.

I was never expecting too much off a Pontiac to begin with. But this interior is miles ahead of what they have ever created.

for that price id guess that having a few cheap trim pieces probably isnt going to matter that much...aftrall you are paying for the performance

what do you mean, "keeping up with me..." At 415whp that thing is a monster (or should be at least). What were you driving at that time?

...oh.lol I read his profile and it showed "Lexus GS400." I was either expecting him to just be joking around or perhaps he had a TT setup in his GS400; wasn't expecting the C6. lol Thanks for clearing that up for me Sean!
