I love the small details in the RL's Interior. It just screams quality.

J-Pipe (headers for Acura in the making)+50 shot NOS. Not going to mod it extensively. The front 4 piston calipers are great and look awesome so I need to find a way to fab some fronts to the rear. I will put some rear headrest LCDs in there for the kids. The 5.1 DVD audio in this car is even much better than the ML in the SC.

acura is like the audi of the japanese auto world. They make the coolest interiors, but dull exteriors

Is it me, or do those brakes look familar, I've seen them on a certain Japanese sports car and fullsize pickup...

And why did Honda give the Accord the dual-wishbone front suspension and the RL gets the Civic-derived MacPherson setup, even the LCA looks like a Civic piece with the compliance bushing.

The RL retains its fully independent suspension system with front double-wishbone and rear multi-link systems.

I'm not an engineer, but my guess is concerns about space for the AWD hardware. The RL has AWD, which has more hardware underneath, necessatating more space for it, and a smaller, more compact suspension like MacPherson struts. The Accord, on the other hand, with less hardware to fit in, can accomodate the less-space-efficient, but more sophisticated, double-wishbone setup.

Like what was already posted above, the RL/Legend since 1986 always has/had a double wishbone and multi-link suspension. The one poster just got confused by that one pic which does show everything.

1896? That's quite a while.

The poster clearly referred to the RL with struts, not double wishbone/multi-links.

Corrected to 1986

Anyway, that particular poster is wrong. The RL has double wishbone and multi-link suspension. Always has.

These kinds of brakes are commonly available for many vehicles. They look the same because there are only so many ways you can make the calipers (visually). Heck, most floating calipers (Older lexus, hondas, Toyotas, etc) look the same.
