is this the same 3.0 liter they put in the first gen RX? if it is, lexus sure reuse their engines for a long time...

no, the 1RX uses the 3.0L 1MZ-FE V6, the SC300 employs the 3.0L 2JZ-GE I6.

I found a mistake in the article...it says that the V8 engine is a twin cam, when In fact we have 4 camshafts

Its a twin cam. It says so right on the engine in the photograph.

4 cams on a V8
IS a twin cam.
