Than I say get Volvo C70. FWD, hardtop convertible, peppy but not over powering engine, price is 40k starting. Styling is subjective but I'd take the C70 over the Sebring, G6 and Eos.
She should take a hard look at the Pontiac G6 hardtop vert. The car comes standard with Onstar and other features that are options or not even available on many drop tops.. Yes, the G6 retractable hardtop has a good price for that type of car, but, IMO, the interior is excessively plain-looking, made of more-or-less junk plastic, and the car has a well-below-average reliability record. I brought it up mainly because it was one of the few possible choices for a FWD retractable-hardtop (there aren't many), but it would not be my first choice, even among those few....the Volvo C70 would.
