Koma - we will check out that Volvo

DASHOCKER - thanks for your input man...I will tell her to check out the G6 but I'm thinking that she might want a "little" more of a luxury aspect...we'll see.

Well, let's gather all the current (luxury) hardtop convertible. Doesn't seem like much out there:
Feel free to add to the list.

1. BMW 3 series
2. MB SL
3. MB SLK
4. Lexus SC430
5. Volvo C70

Nonluxury:

1. G6
2 VW Eos

+1 - the Volve is VERY nice.

Yes, the G6 retractable hardtop has a good price for that type of car, but, IMO, the interior is excessively plain-looking, made of more-or-less junk plastic, and the car has a well-below-average reliability record. I brought it up mainly because it was one of the few possible choices for a FWD retractable-hardtop (there aren't many), but it would not be my first choice, even among those few....the Volvo C70 would.

The TT does not have a retractable hardtop....a required feature. It has a soft top instead. (Same problem with the Audi A4/S4 convertibles).
