Default For all the car gurus out there...need sugg. for my Boss' wife

My Boss and his wife are looking into their next car to buy or lease. She currently drives a loaded 2006 Lexus SC430 and the lease is up. She really wants another convertable (but it MUST be hard top) and would like AWD if possible for the winters here in NY. Do you guys have any suggestions on Makes and Models that we could look at?

I "could" also suggest FWD vehicles to her if there is no such thing as the above. Thanks for all the help in advance guys. Oh, BTW they kind of want to keep the price of the car under $60K.

hadrtop convertible AND AWD? can a Audi A4 with a cap be ok? Do Volvo C70 come in AWD? Does such a thing as 335ix convertible exist? Just throwing ideas.

Mercedes SLK or Volkswagen EOS too. There aren't that many hardtops available.

As for AWD convertibles, none that I know of.
FWD ones that are hardtops: EOS, Volvo C70, Chrysler Sebring, Pontiac G6.

BMW now makes the 335i with hardtop convertible. Maybe it'll be AWD for '09?

Pricey though. It starts at $50k base...

if she doesn't mind used cars, a 3000GT VR4 Spyder. Hardtop converible + AWD.

Or maybe wait to see if the upcoming G37 convertible will come in X (AWD) form.

Does Audi TT-S come AWD + convert? Not sure...what about 2004ish Porsche 911 C4... perhaps Targa?

Audi A4 3.2 loaded is WELL under $50K w/ AWD... good luck!!

Finding a VR-4 spyder is like winning the lottery. Hell VR-4's are hard to find too.

Don't "suggest" anything. I tried to help my boss on his prior 2 purchases, and he regretted his purchase each time.
