Thumbs up Im absoulutely blown away by the new Mazda 6 euro model!

Hey everyone I'am a long time member, well not as old as the goat family here, but I manage to post or reply every once in a while. Im currently residing in Dubai and was shopping around for a new vehicle. Just test drove a new Mazda 6 they have the euro/asia model with the cool looking front end and the rear.

Dare I say Mazda has made a cheaper A4 1.8 and Lexus IS250 competitor. I was very impressed with the feel and top notch fit and finish of top of the line model. It had everything, bose 8 speaker six disc audio system, push button ignition, power sliding glass roof, sport suspension 18 inch wheels and leather with memory seats. There were a lot of other little things that I cant remember right now but the main thing is the drive as usual Mazda has delivered a no compromise Sports Sedan in a class of its own. the speed sensing feel of the steering the brakes and handling blow away the Accord and Camry. It actually feels like a entry level luxury sport sedan.

Well cut to the chase I have just ordered a Brand new full option Sparkling black metallic with gray leather 6. I cannot wait to get delivery of this vehicle. While I was at the showroom some lucky guy was just driving off with one with same exact specs as the one I ordered.

I hope all of you get a chance to give this car a test drive. It is the new standard for mid size sedans. It will bring a huge smile on your face.

This is basically the same thing I have ordered same wheels and all, the spoiler on mine looks a little different its like the slim style. Actually looks like the one on the LEXUS IS.

Yeah they do have the hatch/full trunk model and a "Estate" version.

I guess the sedan is the Hatch and Estate is like what in america is a wagon.

The trunk on this car can hold three bodies minimum. I kept thinking of that scene from the Deniro movie where he plays a car salesman for a bit. LOL

The trunk is HUGE for a car that has a short looking overhang and short looking rear.

that mazda looks one generation ahead in style.
the IS looks outdated next to it.

I'd still never buy a mazda though

Great choice!!! Road and Track called it a bargain Lexus in their preview.

The 6 though is huge, bigger than the ES and GS, let alone the small IS.

I personally LOVE the Mazda cars I've driven, especially the Mazda 3. So, I can imagine this is even better.

Having owned an RX8 I will never ever fo back to Mazda.....not because my car kept breaking down but because Mazda has by far the worst network of dealerships for service. Those bastards are the worst!

The new Mazda 6 has been knocking around in the UK for a few months now and the first time you see it you do a double take, mistaking it for a Lexus. It's a good looking car, no doubt, but certainly doesn't make the IS look dated.

It does have the advantage of offering both a 5 door hatchback and an estate version as well as the 4 door saloon though - options that the Lexus sadly lacks.

I've seen the US version and it looks like the Euro version but about 10% bigger in every dimension.
