Color combos

This may have been brought up in another post, but i want to ask this, why does lexus have such boring interiors with such plane exterior colors. Honestly, only 2 color combos lexus has really grabs my eye, White exterior with blk interior, and a flint mica exterior with a saddle interior. Besides that, all the interiors of color choices seem limited. Bring back rsp from the sc, and offer saddle interior on more cars. Make the interiors 2 tones, and different colored leather piping. Make the seats a different color from the rug. Even the malibu with the black and saddle interior looks awesome, why can't lexus do so? If anything, they need to make a real dark red ls460 with a white leather interior and black rungs and headliner.Sorry for venting, but i needed to get this of my chest.

But as far as color combinations are concerned, I think Lexus has plenty, especially for their sedans. They have a variety of colors, but most are dark toned, instead of loudly bright. I would prefer that they have more wood and surface choices, but that is slowly coming about (like the carbon fiber interior of the IS-F).
The SC has the most color combinations, although it sells the least volme amount. I think that for bold interior colors such as red leather (as seen in Pebble Beach Editions) and saddle, its better on smaller cars so that it's not too overwhelming. The SC also has three wood choices (not including Pebble Beach Editions).

And, as always, an obvious reason......fewer colors means lower production costs for the bean-counters.
Yes, the white leather on the LS460 is classy.....but few automakers offer it, especially in the lower-priced range.
