Default Picked up a new ride today.....can you guess what it is?

Ill give you a hint...

Sooooo....

Yeah...

PSYKE!!!! Its not really mine...I wish. Car is fast tho...2006 STi with the stage 2 Cobb Racing Package...WOW...***** to the wall. I cleaned it up for a buddy of mine (but thats not the purpose of this post...the post was a joke.)

But seriously, I think this car is one of the most well balanced cars i have driven in awhile as far as driving dynamics go. I could never own one tho, I would get into ALOT of trouble in the speeding dept.

Big time speed magnet. Cops look for those blue STIs all day long. Great car though.

Yes they do.

I loved the part where i could hit 60mph before the light about 70 ft in front of the one i was at and still have time to stop.

And shifting 1-2 at 6800 Rpm and when the shift is complete the RPMS dropped right into the Peak Boost (4800 RPM with the EMS Tuned the way it is) and the boost just THROWS you back into your seat. I didnt post pix of the engine at owners request...but all in all car is REDICULOUSLY fast and can hold the road. It will not break loose unless the driver breaks it loose deliberately. A very tame and easy car to drive, even with 400+ to the wheels.

4800 rpm peak? talk about terrible lag, and fyi cobb stage 2 sti's usually dyno around 300whp...400+ is a full turbo swap and then some, etc. Check out NASIOC if you need more info...

the guy has other things done. Cobb stage 2 as far as i know is just a computer or chip, I/H/E, upipe, downpipe and Map or maf sensor (whichever the car uses)... there is a reason why no underhood pix were posted LOL. this car is a TOTAL sleeper...the turbo is H...U...G...E...

as far as the RPMS go, total guesswork on my part...beleive me i wasnt paying attention to the tach....i was only watching the road and listening for the "beep" of the shift indicator...at WOT, i couldnt pay attention to the tach. Not on city streets anyway.

You're right, 04-05 Impreza's are the ones that look like the picture posted, 06-07's are the revision and have a roof spoiler for the STI models.

my mistake, it is an 05.

Questions about what products used should be directed to me via PM since this is NOT a Click N' Brag post...simply a joke for my good buddies on CL.
