Needs to lose the logo on the grill... I prefer the AMG to be honest.

 

I think it's nice! the original body can hang with the aggressive styling.

Lorinser keeps it aggressive!

 

BARF!!!!!! the thing i hate the most is the little "jack" hole on the side skirts of the car talk about messing up lines, not that i like any of the other lines of the car but they are ugly bmw has also used this crap and it hate it.

 

I wasn't a big fan of the redesign, but it's really grown on me.

While driving to Irvine today, I saw a '09 black SL quickly approaching in my rearview mirror. It was a SL65...what a great looking car

 

AMG is much cleaner, lorinser seems a little gaudy.

Times have really changed. In the early 2000's LORINSER introduced the "F1" line for MB's with things like vented fenders, and mesh in the sideskirts.

All of a sudden the cleaner, simpler kits, like WALD, AUTOCOUTURE, BRABUS were judged as "too plain". I can personally remember gettting calls from guys that would say "nah man, I want them vents and all that like the Lorinser"

So this is what we get, everyone is making crazier kits now. Its commerce after all, and the companies have to supply customers with the parts they want.

That being said, I'd prefer this car with the stock AMG kit, wheels and lowering 1000x over this kit. There is simply TOO MUCH going on with this one.

This is the R&D you talked about.

i.e they hire 14 year old high school freshman to design their body kits.

 

if you like to take things so out of context, be my guest. but apparently you just don't get it.

 

Not too shabby although the only time I can picture myself in it is drifting into a tree.
