Yes they did. They even said in Truck Trend that it is a Land Cruiser for cheap.....then in Motor Trend buyers guide they give the Kia 3 stars but give the Land Cruiser 5 stars and called it bulletproof.

Interesting choice. I really like the new Forester...but it has consistently been ranked below the Rav4 and CRV. Hard to name it as SUV of the year when it is not a significant standout in it's class.

Yes they are...hell, I would seriously consider getting one if I was in this market. I am still just a bit surprised that this was chosen when you look at Motor Trends "of the year" criteria. The Forester is great, but not the best.

TO be honest, I didnt even notice it on the list.

Probably because it blends in with other vehicles so well. Seems like more of the same thing to me, which is never a bad thing (Camry, Accord etc year after year).
