That being said, the CTS-V does have 150 hp advantage over the IS-F.

Impressive vids. 140mph on the short straight and I love how the car hugs the turns!! Thanks for sharing those vids. I can't wait for my turn at the wheel of this beast.

Impressive car! I was reading some of the comments and they kept talking about the M5 and if/when BMW comes out with a new one; and how it will compete against this one. All I have to say is, god forbid BMW puts a TT on the next generation BMW M5. Look at the damn 335i a damn 6cyl with two small turbos and they fly; and when they get tuned (under $3K) they are high 12 second cars. If the next M5 gets the TT treatment I feel that it could easily be a low 12 to high 11 car in stock form. and then wait for the Dinan stage 1, 2 and 3 chips to hit the market! lol. With the way that fuel prices have been I feel that BMW is going to start to incorporate turbos on many of their rides; I think I read that somewhere also.
The CTS-V looks like a wonderful car and no one can take anything away from that...I just couldn't "picture" myself in a Caddy. Especially when I have a close friend that within 2 years time his $55K 2006 CTS-V went through 2 transmissions and his ball joint broke in HALF pulling out of the driveway...yup, right through the fender; needed bodywork also and to top it all off, it's a lease! lol. One time he was driving on the highway (2nd time his tranny went) and out of the blue from a 2-3 shift he heard grinding and the entire shift assembly fell through the floor! He said it was damn scary at 50mph and just steered and coasted to the shoulder and called for a flatbed. I felt bad for him...beautiful looking and powerful car; when it works. I wish Lexus put a beast of an engine in their cars...there would NEVER be any and ifs or buts as to where to go for the best performance and best reliability then.
Oh, BTW how is it possible that a 6.2L supercharged V8 can AVERAGE 20mpg!!!??? I can't even get a 16mpg average in my non-supercharged 4L V8 GS.
