If it was a GM/Chrysler/Ford it would fail miserably, get bashed all over the press, and be discontinued. This thing is disgustingly ugly, always has been ugly and doesn't even get great MPG with its 4 cylinder.
THe internet would have a field day with it.
B/C of the badge, people give it a pass.
They should use them in Iraq as people shields, my 2 cents.....

I quite like the current one for it's enormous space and "utilitarian-ness"
i don't like the new Honda corporate grille at all, and it really isn't growing on me as i usually expect "new" designs to do...
but i'd be more than willing to poop about in the current element SC.

Looks pretty much the same which is odd and goofy looking and to me is a completely useless vehicle and a waste in the Honda lineup, this vehicle is potentially taking the place of a performance 2 door like CRX or a Prelude or another sports car built off the S2000 platform, Honda should just let Scion deal with that small niche of cars and not waste resources or money of the Element. I do like the camping thing and I like how you can fold all the seats flat so you can sleep in the Element which is pretty nice, it would come in handy if taking it on a camping, hunting, or fishing trip but the Element is not built for serious off roading where you would be out in the wilderness and need to sleep in your vehicle so something like that would be more useful in a more off road vehicle like the Pilot. I am surprised the Element has a pretty large niche of buyers and it is somewhat successful but to me I think it is a waste and would much rather see a sporty/sports car in its place.
