agreed. this is common in most coupes.

my dads 1984 SEC500 does the same thing. it comes out when you start the car, and retracs when you put it on. if you dont put it on, it still retracts after a minute or so.

The seatbelt chime in our IS is very annoying comparatively. It gets progressively faster and doesn't really stop.

The automatic seatbelt pusher is cool too, it suprises me everytime I jump into my friends 335.

like so:

very cool and wish I had it in my 06GS. Anyway to modify sounds with Lexus Personalization?
seatbelt pusher for the coupe is so lame. It's just another pointless thing that will break. Im glad my e93 doesnt have one,.

You can disable it on the lexus. The one one the BMW is very nice indeed but I havent found a way to disable that chime yet.

All new BMW's have that dreamy sounding riff when something is amiss, nice I guess...

You have to put the fob in a cradle?

even though bmw's have push button start, you still need to put the key fob into the dash cradle and then push the button...

i like bmw's CA. i like how it doesnt turn off all the everything when the engine shuts off. one thing i couldnt figure out on my cousin's e93 is, how do you lock the doors? is the remote the only way to lock it? or is there a hidden sensor on the door handles.
