Default Does your aftermarket Leather Seats turn out ANYTHING like these?..

I'm using this high resolution picture of the back seat of the new IS-C, however I like how the factory seats shows quality in the material and of course the stitching (besides the fact that it is new, i'm focusing on the quality of the leather seats themselves).........so does anyone who used one of the many aftermarket kits does seats produce a similar high quality looking finished product? In other words, how close is the quality to the stock seat's quality? Thanks.

I had leatherseats.com leather in my NSX (Its in the leatherseats.com gallery with the suede inserts) and was extremely happy with quality and fit. One of the reasons why my kit fit so perfect in my car was because my seats were used as the template to make the NSX pattern. Once that pattern is made, it is used for everyone else that buys a kit, and sometimes there are slight differences in each other seats so fitment may not be perfect. As for quality, I was pleased. I used leatherseats.com in my Legend and the leather looked brand new 3 years later when I sold the car. That was one of the reasons why I went with them for the NSX. Good quality for an affordable price. For my experience with the kit, I would say leather quality and feel was on par with any Lexus expect for the LS430 and GS430 with perforated seats and of course the newer LS460s and such.

Now, I'm not saying the leather itself is as high quality as some of the top OEM, but it is just as soft and supple feeling and if installed well fits just as snug and tight and last just as long. That is just my experience though. I personally wouldn't hesitate to use them again for my GS430 even if I stil do have soft and supple perforated seats in great condition.
