2nd gear, 920whp, mid engine / rwd + turn = oversteer hell
....i'm not trying to berate this nsx...it's badass no doubt, but having experience with hipo Supra TT's, it's more of a straightline performer / dyno queen then a trackstar. Sometimes having too much power on the track is self-defeating, as it requires much more judicious driving, bigger brakes, tires, etc. and thus weight, reinforcements, etc. But hey, if this car could track it, props to the owner, and would love to see the vids....

I obviously do NOT know the trackability of this NSX especially with that much power, just saying that many track instructors with the NSX love 2nd gear on the track. Depending on the track, many spend most of the time in 2nd and 3rd gears. 2nd gear is a very tall gear in the USDM transmission. It is actually slightly annoying for street driving, but many love it on the track. The JDM short gears and NSX-R ring and pinion changes that though.
One of my local NSX buddy, the one that owns the Factor X twin turbo making 500+ WHP loves 2nd gear, and he used to race Porsche's and Formula 2000.

May be fast, but it's unbelievably ugly.
