thats pretty crazy for an NSX
is it doing 925bhp on its original engine or has it been swapped?
i dont see how 925bhp is useful on a track though
anything more than 600 is just overkill

Thats a whole lot of power for a car that weighs maybe 2800lbs stock.
But I say no to flat-black. It's one of those things where people will think to themselves "why the heck did I pay thousands of dollars for a dull looking paint!!" when the novelty wears off within a few months

Even at half throttle he is getting about 450 HP and 370 lbs of torque. In a car like the NSX that amount of wheel power still puts you at low 11s and is more than enough. My friend's Factor X 500, 500 WHP car is a moster beast as is. For a car like the NSX 300WHP moves it very fast with ease. My bet is anything up to half throttle and this car will feel similar to a Comptech Supercharged NSX, and once the turbo really kicks it is like no other NSX most people have ever driven.

I would love to see the full dyno sheet of this NSX. Having had a lot of experience with larger turbos (including my last 500hp Evo), the power delivery isn't linear at all, more like logarithmic. I'm betting at 4600 rpm, it's power is equivalent to a Accord. Anyhow, if you think it's fun to drive with an on-off switch, especially on the track you're terribly wrong, as predictability and control are of the essence to good times.

I wouldn't be surprised if this car does have a really steep HP curve once boost kicks in, but with that said, 4600RPM on an NSX is low. VTEC kicks in at 5600 RPM I believe, and you can stay in 2nd gear all day long up to about 85 MPH and probably higher given the raised redline. At least on a track, most owners would probably never or rarely be under 5500 RPM anyway.
....i'm not trying to berate this nsx...it's badass no doubt, but having experience with hipo Supra TT's, it's more of a straightline performer / dyno queen then a trackstar. Sometimes having too much power on the track is self-defeating, as it requires much more judicious driving, bigger brakes, tires, etc. and thus weight, reinforcements, etc. But hey, if this car could track it, props to the owner, and would love to see the vids....
