I'm getting rid of my car...
It's a sad day.
I have decided to let go of my car.
Her name is Betsy, and she's 19 years old, with 271,534 miles.
So many memories -- memories that I cannot share because I shouldn't incriminate myself.
So, by Sunday, she will be donated to charity. I hope she makes someone else as happy as I have been the past 14 years that I've owned her. She will surely be missed but never forgotten.
She's missing a hubcap from an unfortunate incident skidding in snow one winter in Jersey...
The dent in the rear is when I backed into a big rig when I wasn't looking...
Seatbelt is partially torn. I think it's still safe...
That dash has seen a lot of sun. I drove it from New York to L.A. once in July. No A/C!!!
Years of me leaning on the door ledge finally gave way. Note the window switch plate is screwed on...
And she's still running strong!!!

Wow you still had that Camry? It brings back so many memories, a relative of mine owned that model years back. I remember it well--the automatic seatbelts, the door fabric trim which kids could 'draw' on, the overdrive button, the reading lights, the glowing green ring around the ignition...
No airbags though...your IS is much safer.
Was that a DE, LE, or XLE V6 version?
Still going after all those years

Had me worried for a minute too. Brings back soo many memories of mine. I had a 91 (Last year for that box style) and she served me well (386K miles strong), and was still purring like a top when I sold her.
