In my opinion this is the best luxury sedan ever made and the m100 engine(which this has is superb) 6.3 v8 286hp (under rated) 4xx lbs of torque (under rated as well) made this car a beast

Given all the 'restoration work' you'd better have about the same amount of $ again for maintenance...

Here is a short list of the work performed: rebuild front axle $18k, rebuild rear axle 9500, replace brakes 10500, exhaust system 7000, new interior 7500, fuel injection 6000, rebuild a/c 5000, radio/antenna/speakers/amp system 2000, power steering pump and gearbox 2000, replace air pressure regulator 2500, replace oil pan 1000, repair heater 1500, replace injection pump, replace timing chain and tensioner, replace bilstein shocks, replace motor mounts, front wheel bearings, tie rods, front and rear brake calipers, booster, master cylinder, brake pads, brake lines, gas tank filler door, windshield washer pump, windshield washer nozzles, all belts, replaced radiator, suspension linkages and lines, replace clock, replace 4 new yokohama tires, replace all door seals, new battery, wiper blades, various gaskets and seals, and much much more...

Amazing restoration of that car!! Very pricey... front-axle rebuild $18,000, exhaust system $7,000, etc. However, one thing I do not get. The whole rebuild in 2006 cost a total of $90,000. And don't get me wrong, I love them, but why on earth would you put Yokohama tires on a vintage 1970's Mercedes???
