Funny, CAR didn't feel that way. Amazing a Euro mag picked the GS over the CLS (the 5 was first).

That being said, once maintenance costs are not a concern, I would get the CLS over the GS. I think the CLS looks like nothing else on the planet, whereas the GS has been knocked-off like a Gucci print, so its a more common shape.

The CLS truly evokes emotion from me, the GS less so. Now if its a GS 450h, well the choice is tougher.

My vote, CLS.

Where do you get some of this stuff from? Both cars have ample aftermarket support.

CLS

PERIOD!!!

The unique styling alone should be a big plus. Drop it the car and add some wheels it it, and you'll have a very damn looking car. I'm sure the GS is a nice car too, but it just doesn't seem to have the presence, even when modded.

Thanks everyone I guess the vote is overwhelm. I just found a white CLS55 for 53k at my local Mercedes dealership. Those 4 pipes at the back of that car is a killer. Honestly the CLS550 or CLS500 is fast enough for me fellas. Thanks again everyone for your post.
Man I would have love listening to that ML system in the Lexus. I have the check so all I need now is the time.

I see at least 54 pages of modifications, small to large. You don't need a specific tuning house to offer mods, but if that makes you feel better about yourself, go ahead and roll up and smoke the sauerkraut.

Junction Produce, TTE, Toms are just a few names. Lexus had 3 GSs are SEMA last year and will offer another this year.

Looking at both cars, they have ample aftermarket support.

Oh and I also picked the CLS as rogers pick.
