Dunnojack, the reason that window line is there on the 2GS is for 2 reasons
1. The C-pillar is the same
2. They wanted to show some GS "tradition" in that C-pillar
3. This continues in the 3GS with the same curved C-pillar (hoffmeister kink)
Not that cool to me. This is part of the reason I bought an M6 instead of another Benz. Every Benz looks the same now......the SL looks like the CL....the SLK.....now the E-class coupe.
Are you sure this is not a photoshop? I mean look at the front plate number. Its kinda having a curve in the middle of it going along with the design.
That is the way the license plate holder comes. My wife's friends CLK is like that. The license plate literally is bent into that shape. Doesn't look bad at all in real life.
Anyway, I like it. I tend to favor 2-Door Coupe designs so this car appeals to me.
god if mercedes could only make them reliable, I would spend the extra money. I cant wait to see that car at the SEMA show worked. Big *** 22's, a body kit, and a nice suspension set up and that thing is ready for the sun set strip in LA
that e class came out in 96 the 2gs not until 98 so no flaming please
But the first generation Lexus SC came out in 1992 with quad headlights, and the Jaguar sedans have had quad headlights even way before that, in the the 60's/70's
