Default Buy buy buy (BMW offers 0.9% financing on everything)

I wonder when Lexus is going to follow. In this crappy economy, dealers are having a roughtime selling their cars, this is a deal. If Lexus doesn't hurry I may have to buy a M3 Coupe.

Civic, I expanded your thread title. Try to make them more specific than "Buy buy buy" in the future.

I think we have a thread on this already. Not only is it .9% but they are advertising, I got a card in the mail.

Weeellll, since the wife totaled her tC last week and our insurance has offered a very reasonable settlement, I figured I'd go to Lexus and see what's up with an IS-F - see if they have any cheap money for sale. No dice. the 2.9/3.9 financing is only available on the RX according to Nalley Lexus. So Lexus isn't getting into the cheap money game at all. Yet.

Might have to look at that M3 now...

Today's Chicago Tribune had Lexus models (new 2008s) at .9%

all the dealerships are desperate. play hardball if you can . They will do anything for a deal right now. with financing like that its probably easier to get out of a car and into a new one even if you are upside down the interest rate will help to negate some of that

Sort of goes without saying that the inexpensive credit goes to those with good credit scores. That said, for the month of August the average credit score of all car loans was 749.

Sorry, my bad - should have stated that in my post.

It's per CNW Marketing Research - it was quoted within an article in the Chicago Tribune stating that GMAC would no longer lend to anyone with less than a 700 credit score.
