This 241mph run was awesome!!! The scenery blurred in seconds...you can almost feel as if you were right there...The 228mph run achieved by the Autobanh Supra didn't have that affect on me...either way, fast azz Supra's....way to go SW

I wouldnt mention the two engines in the same sentence. The RB has never (and most likely never will) put out enough power to make numbers like these.

The RB26 was available in the R32 just FYI and there isnt much of a difference between that one and the one in the R34.

Yes more than likely considering he was at the top of 5th and didn't shift to 6th.

The Veyron would NOT get to that speed within a mile though, it wouldn't even pass 200

This wasn't a top-speed run guys. It was a run for top speed within a mile. HUGE difference.

Well the Bugatti Veyron actually get to 204.4 mph in one mile but 40 mph difference at those speeds is huge!

Aerodynamics are a key factor and I doubt the IS300 would have been able to get close to that top speed but who know. This supra weighed around 3000 lbs and had 1500rwhp. That power to weight ratio alone is insane.

SW Broke old 241.8 record.........

Just got word from Supraforums that SW ran a 246.2mph right off the trailer and this was at 3psi less than when he did 241.8mph last time. I will update the thread when I get more info.

Offtopic: The Hennessey GT-R just ran 190.6 mph! so far at the same event as SW. Mods to the GT-R are unknown at this time.
