while the gtr may have been outgunned, it wasn't by much if you look at hte numbers....
it was teh fastest 0-60 tied with the ferrari, only 0.4s behind in the 1/4 mile from the fastest car while being down ~150 ft. lbs and `~120 hp and being 500 lbs heavier. top speed was 5 mph slower than the fastest car again being way down on power.
i'd say that's a hell of an effort keeping up considering it was heavier and out powered the entire time!

Why? Do you think it has a chance? CTS-V cannot even break 4 sec in the 0-60 and 12 sec in the 1/4. Also, it weighs 4500 lbs and barely broke 8 mins at the Nurburgring. How do you think it would do. Not saying anything bad about the car, but kinda stupid to suggest a comparison using that car.

BTW the GTR numbers seem a little odd. The 0-60 time they got is the best I've seen for the GTR while the 0-100 is not. I believe the best 0-100 I've seen is 7.7-7.8 and I think that was when it was slower to 60 by .1 sec.

It's an interesting question but I do think that the CTS-V would get outclassed by this group. However if Cadillac should decide to make a V version of the upcoming coupe it would be more of a fight.
