Nah GM knows how to crank up the boost and lie about power outputs just fine. I think they wrote the book in the 1970s
This makes the car 2 seconds faster than even the LF-A

More ZR-1 goodness from Edmunds comparing it to the GT-R.

I wonder if it outdid the Cadillac CTS-V? The Caddy, supposedly, recently set a new record.
The article said that the ZR-1 was within 0.3 seconds of the Viper ACR....so we have 2 or 3 possible records here.

The Viper ACR still has the faster time but I give much greater props to the Vette since the ACR that ran the track was one with the 'hard core package' which basically translates to every last non-necessary component of the car being stripped out except the AC/heater. The ZR1 on the other hand has full sound deadening still installed, nav, full stereo, power everything, on-star, a much nicer interior w/ leather wrapped dash, and a dramatically more comfortable ride from all accounts I've come across probably due to the adjustable MRC suspension. If 0.3 seconds on a 7:22 is the difference between a race-specific car and a car I can live with day to day, I'll take the daily car every time.
