I guess you missed post #40 where his odyssey was posted.

I have a sienna myself (far uglier than the odyssey). Nothing beats a minivan in interior convenience).
With the 3rd row down, there's no 3 row suv that comes close with decent trunk space, unless you get into the expedition xl, suburban, yukon xl.....

2007+ suburban: 137.4 cubic feet of storage behind the front seats (with the second row folded and third row removed).
2005+ Odyssey: 147 cubic feet behind the front seats with the middle row out— more than any extended-length SUV.
Combined with a load-in height of 24" for the Odyssey (versus 33" for the big SUVs) the van just makes more sense if you really haul people or "stuff."
I really wanted to buy the Sienna for it's great 3.5 liter V6 and to "keep it in the Toyota family," but the Odyssey's looks and aftermarket support won me over (I have the only lowered 2008 Odyssey in the world!)
You folks can keep your giant SUVs. I just ask two things:
1) Don't try to keep up with me on on/off ramps
2) Don't try to load bikes like this:

Well, there's nothing's wrong with owning one, if it's the best vehicle to fit one's needs, as it is for a lot of families. This stuff you constantly see in the auto press and magazines about the "stigma" of owning a minivan is a bunch of nonsense, as most stereotypes are.

The Arcadia's platform will be the new big boy truck replacement. The Arcadia platform is more nimble & planted to the road than the current platform for the Yukon & Escalade. The room behind the wheel & in back is the same as what is offered in the current Yukon/Escalade. Good move GM.
