That's hideous. Wouldn't be caught dead in it.

I like it except for the marble looking trim. Car would have been much better with the piano black trim, or even the metal aluminum trim.

Same here.

I like the blue marble, but it doesn't look integrated.
Looks a sheet of veneer slapped over the center vent.

The cup holders look like something you can find in a rental vehicle. Poor integration!

OT: Just had that new shifter in a 528 loaner... ugh....
I understand the concept (why not make it electronic and it stops you from throwing it into park while driving) - but it is too far forward and harder to use. Forget about resting your hand on it while driving.

Sorry, had to vent to someone...

I don't think it's real marble, not in an X3 anyway. I think only Mercedes offer real marble trims as options for some of their high end models ...

I think it looks, OK. Nothing ground breaking, looks like most entry level Bimmers.

Wow that is disgusting.

I hope that's just a mule because that's one of the most rushed and terrible interior designs I've seen, especially that cheap potpurri of a center console.

Not bad but the wood trim looks cheesy and I hope it's a pre-production model cause the airbag cover doesn't fit. Also, I'm surprised they didn't make it seamless into the dash.

I love BMW, but this cannot be the final product? Right? It looks unfinished.

Doug, I have an 08 550i (Jet Black, Natural Brown, Sport package) the new shifter takes time getting used to. Push FORWARD to reverse, pull BACK to drive. I have grown to like it, but man, it really makes you wonder.

That passenger airbag 'cover' or something on the dash doesn't even fit flush or evenly...

And then there's the 70's countertop formica faux marble.

What's next, Corinthian leather?

Default Revised look

Here is an improved interior shot. I like the black wood. The layout i/f/o the I-drive controller is similar to the current X3.

That looks a lot better, though I must say that the seam in the wood on the passenger side looks a bit cheap for a BMW.

EDIT: is that picture of the new X3? How are such high quality press-looking pictures leaking if the car hasnt been unveiled?

Bimmerpost is known to be spyphoto/video central. In addition, BMW is never shy when it comes to teasers..
