You can't go wrong with the A8L, it's just simple beauty! it's one of those cars that has a calm look to it with awesome LINES... the interior of an AUDI is speechless, the leather last forever..
good choice in color as well..

Justbob, congrats on your ride. If you see from my signature, I made the same decision 4 months ago. I sold my 98 GS400 for an 05 A8L, Black on Black, loaded out. I am loving the car, and all of the extra room in the back seat is really coming in handy when I cart around my two kids.
I also saw you joined and posted at Audiworld. I too am on that forum and saw your great pics there. Congrats again, and hopefully we both have good luck with our rides.
I took a few quick pics, but I need to work on my pictures skills to get something even remotely close to yours...

Lexus Test Driver
So all year I have been planning on buying a 2009 460L. Nobel Spinel/Alabaster.
While I have been waiting for cars to get here, I run into a guy with an 08 Audi A8L, and I really liked it. I read all the reviews, comparisons and so on, and got convinced I'd rather have the Audi. I put all this into another thread.
Some folks said "sure, show the pictures" (even if the car is made in the wrong country). So here we go:
Some photoshop fun in the last one there.
The interior is fabulous, but the light was not right for photographing it. The .9% financing was enticing.
This is the best car forum on the internet, in my book. Everyone is so positive and helpful. I did find a good Audi forum too. Best of luck to everyone here, I'll probably still hang around.
And enjoy your great Lexus!

I went the other way....
My S8 was a 2007. The Audi was more fun to drive, but not more fun to own. 
I had a couple service issues, but nothing major. I would buy another one. The depreciation was heavy, but I think that it would be with almost any very expensive luxury car.
I enjoy the variety. Good luck with your A8. Drive it in good health!

I don't know about that...ML in the LS 460 is rated as the best tested audio system on the market. No doubt that the BO system is great, but I haven't heard it in person and cannot make a judgment on quality. The ML in the LS 460 sounds better than live sometimes- it's just phenomenal.
