my bad for not clarifying, i meant it in the sense that if it could have been available here before when those other countries first got it.. why didn't we implement it then, seriously it's been like a good 8+ years from what i recall

Because NA market likes power > fuel efficiency.
Now that everyone is running about hands flailing about the economy some of the people who were comfortable are becoming uncomfortable and those who are stupid rich, are trying to help their own images by being more green.

The no grille look makes it unique, I don't mind it ...

Its a full concept, so it can have no grill or an ugly grill. Looks like a new ACura though

if they put this "body kit" standard, it might sell a little better

I remember old Golfs having the grill-less face.

So this Camry will be 100% clean air! I think No grille is more of a statement purpose of this vehicle.

You're kidding right? It's only the best-selling car in America.

My biggest question is how far can you go on a fuel up? I tried to get this from Honda and never got an answer aside from the gas hybrid is better. Looking at these two cylinders they probably can hold 40,000 cubic feet 400CCF of gas if they are at the rated 3,600 PSIG . Translate that to the price we pay here for NG $5.00 per CCF (I am not joking on this price based on my utility bill.) I would have a whopping bill of $2000. $2,000 will get me over 40,000 miles at the current price of gasoline.
