NISSAN GT-R with 23" Chrome Wheels
#17
Maybe its just me, but as another poster said, big chrome 23's on a car of this nature just struck me as "off". I mean 22's sure no prob, if its SLAMMED. But 23's with some gap and then the 265 REAR tire??? (most are running at least 295 out back).
Like someone else said, its like a Ferrari Scuderia with chrome wheels and chrome fender vents! lol

Wow, Thank God!
When I saw the title, I thought maybe D2 put 23' on a GTR! I went " what the ^%^&? They usually have very good taste! "
At least it's not one the car that D2 has done.
23' on a GTR is just SO wrong

I have to say I like it. I dont think I would be hitting the track with 23" wheels but for hitting the street I think it look solid. I just dont like the stickers and the 23" emblem on the side. I would dump it. If you are going to mod a car like that then I would drop it to decrease the Donk look

You know what? After I posted it and read the title I thought to myself "God I hope no one things WE did this!!" lol

To me comparing the Ferrari and GTR is apples and oranges. The Ferrari is not noted as a car that is tunned, most of the buyers leave it stock and that is enough, it makes a statement on its own. The GTR overs the years is known as a car that is modded, it is on the other end of the scale as most of the buyers will mod the car to some degree, so sticking a set of huge wheels on it is not distasteful in my opinion. Not what it is made for ,but it is no supercar that does not need modding.
Both are sports vehicles, and intended to present the best that the respective companies have to offer in that genre. Modding is just fine, just odd when you see tall narrow tires on a 500+hp car

DITTO. It's the thought of it that is most distasteful. At least the owner won't be usinf launch control and tearing up the tranny.

In all honesty was just making a general analogy. I wasn't attempting to actually COMPARE both cars.

I know I won't use the IS-F I have comming to even 1/3 of its potential, but I like the sound of it and I want my wife to drive the kids in something nice, some may call that a waste (probably is), but I would rather have her have an IS-F than an IS350.
Anyway ,I am not trying to sway you or anyones thoughts, just wanted to express my reasons for thinking why it is not too bad.
