Default NISSAN GT-R with 23" Chrome Wheels

I've been trying to find pics of this car. I saw it at SEMA and threw-up in my mouth just a tad. Figured I'd share the nausea with you guys.

23" chrome wheels............7000.00
265/25-23" tires........2000.00
Chrome fender trim............1000.00
Turning a GTR into a GTRescalade.........priceless

How much do you just LOVE the blinged out 23" decal on the fender! Yeah baby yeahhhhh

pics from autoblog

They made 15" brakes look small. I guess for a "show" i understand but for the road, it defeats the entire purpose of buying a GT-R.

Not bad but largest I'd go on that car would be 20"s, maybe 21"s.

I am going to go against the grain here, b/c I don't think they look too bad. Maybe it defeats the purpose of the car, but if you are not going to take it to the track and use it a daily driver and you want to make a statement I think it could be ok.

I hate DUB style. It's like having a donk Ferrari.

BTW that's a JDM brand too. Branew pretty ugly stuff.

It may be different in the states, but I know a guy here who have bought one and he is over 60 years old. I have not seen him take it past 5000rpm and he has had it for a while now. He bought it b/c he has always had GTRs and has no intention on driving it to its potential. I would be the same with the IS-F (GTR was in consideration too, same price here in Japan), I don't think I will go much faster than 80mph on the street and don't intend on taking it to the track.

Maybe its just me, but as another poster said, big chrome 23's on a car of this nature just struck me as "off". I mean 22's sure no prob, if its SLAMMED. But 23's with some gap and then the 265 REAR tire??? (most are running at least 295 out back).

Like someone else said, its like a Ferrari Scuderia with chrome wheels and chrome fender vents! lol

I honestly can say that I like the look, problem is I do not agree with it. GTR with 23" chrome rims does defeat the purpose, so I would not do it. Now 20-22" painted rims with a drop for the perfect balance is another story!
