C&D 2009 10Best Cars
#16
This list is not in order. There is no #1. It is just 10 best, that is all. But it is interesting, 3-Series, G, and CTS all are in the same class. Entry level is the best class of cars IMO.
#17
Car and Driver also rated the 2008 Honda Accord I4 sedan as #4 out of eight cars in a comparison test about four months ago. Which car did they rate first? The 2008 Volkswagen Passat 2.0T.
Doesn't make sense. It's pretty obvious the Passat trumps every other car in it's class for build quality and driving dynamics. The car feels like it's in a class higher (as all Passat's always have). I guess high cost of ownership continues to hold it back (yet it still wins #1).

C&D takes sportiness and fun to drive more seriously than other aspects of a car, that put Lexus vehicles far back in their candidate list for 10 BEST CARS.
