Way to go Cayman!

Is that your IS-F 1/4 mile time down there at Budds Creek Dragway? I don't live too far from there (in the DC area). I have a couple of old friends that used to drag down here, but I thought they closed that place up.

At least, whoever's car that is (yours or otherwise), they have enough sense to do that on the strip rather than on the street, where it is illegal and dangerous.

nice job. Have you seen the isf in 0-60 magazine that is a project car. I think its supercharged and puting down 500 hp, has several panels made out of carbon fiber, and wheel and tire package, as well as an upgraded suspension

Yeah that was me down at MIR yesterday. I live in Herndon so driving down there is a PITA, but usually worth it. The track and facility there is excellent and by no means on the verge of closing down.

Living in and around the DC area you know how it's usually a gridlock and the police have also cracked down on racing and other forms of aggressive driving over the past few years. Hitting the track once in awhile to explore the limits of this car is a must otherwise I might as well just drive something typical.

Great stuff! It's only a matter of time before we see IS-Fs running high 11s.

You got any pics of your blue IS-F?

I have been running an Odyssey lightweight battery in the car since August that saves me around 25lbs and I removed the spare tire to save a few more lbs. I did however add about 4lbs of rotating mass. I was running the heavier IS350 rear wheels that I have the drag radials mounted to which are the same total diameter as the 19" OEM wheels so my gearing wouldn't be changed. Aside from that the car has nothing done to it, but plan on an exhaust system for 2009.
