When I had my GS400 I almost always filled it with regular gas. But I remember the price not being too different between the 2, maybe 20 cents. Since I bought my Audi I have been putting Premium in, which really hurt when prices were going crazy. I've been noticing by me that the price difference between regular and premium is around $.50. Regular is $1.79, Premium is $2.29. Looking at an article on gas prices on CNN.com and they show a picture showing a $.20 difference. I was wondering if what I am seeing is the norm?
BTW, this is NJ pricing, and the price is with credit card.

about 14 cents haha...so its only about $2.40 cent more on a tank ... but gas in the CA bay area is still about 2.5 $ a gallon for premium

I've noticed this. When reg jumped from $2 to $4, I bought into the concept that the spread between the grades should double too. But most stations are still hanging onto to the $.30-$.40 spread now that gas is below $2 again.
